OPEN DIVISIONS SLALOM QUALIFYING ROUNDS (Class LR) TWO QUALIFYING ROUNDS TOP 4 SKIERS FROM ROUND #1 RECEIVE BYE (WILL NOT SKI IN ROUND #2) ROUND #2 WILL BE RESEEDED MINIMUM STARTING LENGTH: WOMEN = 14.25m OPEN MEN = 13m SKIERS WILL BE SEEDED BY IWSF ELITE RANKING LIST AVAILABLE TUESDAY PRIOR TO THE EVENT 8 SKIERS ADVANCE TO THE FINALS TIES FOR PLACEMENT WILL REFER TO BEST BACKUP SCORE 4 SKIERS ADVANCE TO HEAD TO HEAD FINALS
FINALS RULES THE TOP 4 INDIVIDUAL SCORES FROM ROUND #1 WILL RECEIVE SEEDS #1 THRU #4 THE TOP 4 INDIVIDUAL SCORES FROM ROUND #2 WILL RECEIVE SEEDS #5 THRU #8 IF A TIE EXISTS, REFER TO BACK-UP SCORE IF A TIE STILL EXISTS, REFER TO RANKING LIST TOP 8 SKIERS WILL SKI STRAIGHT UP FINALS (TOP 4) WILL BE RUN HEAD-2-HEAD HIGHER SEED HAS CHOICE OF 1ST OR 2ND OFF THE DOCK 2ND SKIER MUST BEAT THE 1ST SKIERS SCORE TO ADVANCE. TIES GO TO FIRST SKIER. IF A TIE EXISTS IN THE FINAL PAIRING, A RUNNOFF WILL OCCUR MINIMUM ROPE LENGTH OPEN WOMEN = 14.25m OPEN MEN = 13m NO OPTING UP DURING HEAD-2-HEAD COMPETITION BOAT DRIVERS WILL BE ALTERNATING
CONTINGENCY PLANS- QUALIFICATION ROUNDS IF QUALIFYING ROUNDS CANNOT BE COMPLETED, SCORES FROM THE COMPLETED ROUND WILL BE USED TO ADVANCE SKIERS TO THE FINAL 8 SKIERS WITH THE TOP 8 SCORES FROM THE COMPLETED ROUND WILL ADVANCE IF A TIE EXISTS REFER TO ELITE RANKING LIST
CONTINGECY PLANS – FINALS 1 HOUR DELAY MINIMUM ROPE LENGTH WILL BE SHORTENED OPEN WOMEN = 13m OPEN MEN = 12m
2 HOUR DELAY TOP 4 SCORES WILL ADVANCE TO A HEAD-2-HEAD FINALS IF A TIE EXISTS IN SEEDING, REFER TO BEST SCORE IN QUALIFYING ROUNDS IF A TIE STILL EXISTS IN CASH PAYOUT POSITIONS, SKIERS WILL SHARE THE PAYOUT
