Another surgery for June Fladborg!

Hey everyone. Went to see my doctor, Dr Cole from Florida hospital yesterday and I need to have more surgery done to my foot. My toes have been having a hard time straightening out and also I have been working hard on bending my foot with not much result. Dr Cole can see my hard work on the x rays because it's showing a little bit of damage in the front of the joint from me trying to get it to bend. I have been pushing some tissue but not done much damage but it tells him I need this surgery which is a toe lengthening ( they snip the back of all my toes) and a calf lengthening ( they cut in my calf muscle to give it more length ) it should make me move my joint a lot better and with no pain. I look forward to getting more range of motion in my foot and hope for a good result so I can start doing some big jumps. I have been cutting on my skis and going pretty good so a little sad to be on crutches for another 6 weeks- not touching the ground. 6 weeks is not much in my eyes since what I have been through but still because I have been in fair bit of pain and on crutches so much it's very clear in my memory and not looking forward to it. Tom is still my rock, even more without ray here, who we still both miss so much. So guys I am going in on Thursday do please come by and keep me company after I come home. Big shout out to my FANTASTIC and generous Doctor, Dr Cole from Florida hospital who is operating me for free!!!! So lucky to have him as my surgeon!
