Regina’s World Overall Record Approved by IWWF

Team GOODE skier Regina Jaquess’ pending Women’s world overall record has been approved by the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation’s Technical Committee.

Regina set the record of 3,033.01 points by scoring 1-1/2 buoys at 41 feet off in slalom, 8,200 points in tricks and 173 feet in jumping at the Pan American Games last October in Chapala, Mexico.  The mark surpasses the previous record of 2,995.56 points set by Natallia Berdnikava.

Alongside her gold medal in overall, she also took gold in slalom and jumping, and a bronze in tricks to finish atop the water skiing competition’s medal count.

The world overall record isn’t the only addition Regina has made to the record books lately.  On Oct. 1, she set a world slalom record of 2 buoys at 41 feet off
