Some of the world's top professional water ski athletes, as well as 35-and-over men's slalom skiers, will compete for $30,000 in prize money at the 2011 Katy Ski Jam, Oct. 14-15, at the Lakes of Katy in Katy, Texas.

The event is being produced by Pro Slalom Events and is sponsored by Eagle Sports. Eagle Sports also will be showcasing different types of water sports that it supports, including freestyle barefooting, freestyle ski jumping, hydrofoiling and wakeboarding. The cash-prize events will include men's slalom skiing and jumping.
